Chapter 10
Wrong number.
One friday afternoon Sneek was sitting at home with a couple
of friends, having a beer or three. There was a phone-call,
an old lady had got the wrong number:

| Lady: | -Sorry, I have probably got the wrong number.

| Sneek: | -Don't be so sure. What's the number you were calling?
| |
| Lady: | -Well, it's 121212.
| |
| Sneek: | -This is the number!
| |
| Lady: | -Is this Asta's place?
| |
| Sneek: | -Yes, but Asta went to the liquor store to buy some more alcohol.
We don't have much left of it, you know.

| Lady: | -This is wrong place. I'm looking for Asta Johansson, 44 Palm Street.
| |
| Sneek: | -That's her! She'll be home in about half an hour.
| |
| Lady: | -Who are you?
| |
| Sneek: | -Well, we are her buddies. We met her this afternoon in the park.
We were drinking wine and Asta really got very nice after a couple
of drinks.

| Lady: | -Really?!
| |
| Sneek: | -Yes, so now we are sitting in her apartment, me and my buddies, and
the booze is running short, so we had to send her to the store.
| |
| Lady: | -Oh, I see!
| |
| Sneek: | -You know what. I just remembered that Asta told us not to answer the
phone. I guess she didn't want everybody know that she is tipsy.
When you call her tomorrow, please don't tell her that I
answered the phone, it would probably make her embarrassed. OK?!

| Lady: | -Well..
| |
| Sneek: | -Thank you so much.
| |
| Lady: | -No. I think it's best that I call tomorrow again.
| |
| Sneek: | -It's very nice of you. Bye.
| |
| Lady: | -Bye-bye.
