Sneek´s prank calls

Chapter 3
The drunk-driver who tried to do a bunk.

Sneek calls in the middle of the day Daniel Andersson's number, hoping that Daniel is at work and that his wife will answer the phone. That was exactly what happened and here is the conversation:

Lady: -123456.

Sneek: -I would like to talk to Daniel Andersson please?

Lady: -Sorry, he is not home. He is at work.

Sneek: -Is this Mrs. Andersson?

Lady: -Yes.

Sneek: -Well, maybe you can help me?! I am inspector Sneek. This is about the drunk-driving incident last summer that your husband was involved in.

Lady: -Drunk-driving?

Sneek: -Yes, exactly. When we had that traffic raid.

Lady: -It can't be true!

Sneek: -He hasn't told you?

Lady: -No, it can't be true. He never drives around drunk.

Sneek: -Well, this is about construction worker Daniel Andersson, 13 Prince Street, Johannehov. Is this your husband?

Lady: -Yes.

Sneek: -Anyway, he is sentenced for drunk-driving and he has to serve one month for it. He was supposed to come here the day before yesterday, but he hasn't showed up yet, that's the reason why I'm calling.

Lady: -No, he hasn't told me anything.

Sneek: -I see. Well, I apologize if I had to be the one to tell you.

Lady: -It is so typical of him. He never tells me anything.

Sneek: -Well, I'm sorry!

Lady: -No, it's not your fault. It is just the way he is.

Sneek: -Anyway, you can tell him that I called.

Lady: -When did you say he had to come?

Sneek: -The day before yesterday. He didn´t show up, but if he comes tomorrow before 7:00 AM, I am sure we can oversee with the delay.

Lady: -Well, I'll talk to him. This is so typical of him. Damn him! I'm so angry.

Sneek: -Try to be indulgent towards him. This could happen even in the worst of families.

Lady: -But this is so typical that he has to mess things up and that he doesn´t dare to tell me. What a bloody bastard for a husband I have?!

Sneek: -Please, try to be nice to him. I'm sure that he didn't mean any harm.

Lady: -Well, we'll see.

Sneek: -Good bye.

Lady: -Good bye.
